  Awful! Due to the incompetence of the staff taking 15 minutes at the checkout not being able to take £10 voucher off my bill then work out the promotional 25% discount off that, it delayed me getting back to the car and I got a £25 parking fine!! The more senior female member of staff left the male cashier struggling to work our discounts on a calculator, (why the till couldn't do it and it's left to staffs mathematics god only knows!). Then after paying £60.13 I checked it and it was £5.00 over, I went back to the counter and the guy scanned the receipt, fumbled about and scratched his head not knowing what to do, had a go anyway, asked for all my items back, scanned each one, folded them all etc got confused, took them out started again, all whilst the female staff member was standing next to him doing some stock paperwork, glancing occasionally possibly enjoying his futile efforts , anyway, halfway through this latest effort, she pipes up oh you can't do it that way you have to do a full credit and redo the transaction! So out it all comes scanned again for return, credited, sign here here and here! Scanned, folded neatly ( I said not to bother folding by this point as my parking was going to expire! I only came to sittingbourne for this shop!) "I'll do as quickly as I can".. Total cost was £83.50. At this point I calculated again what it should come to and he said "oh and the £10 off " (which he had watched me calculate & take off first), he then said its £45.13, I was like no I've already taken the £10 off! Durr err,, oh ummm. Let's do this together... eventually getting to a total of £55.13. So with the £5.00 credited and another 11 minutes later I run to the car where the traffic warden is just slapping a ticket on my car window! Infuriating!!! £25! So essentially my discount for the shopping was £3.37!! I took my parking ticket back to the shop and asked they pay for their staffs incompetence- obviously it's not their problem and I was told that pretty much! I left suggesting the staff need a maths lesson or proper training for the promotion - it really marred the whole shopping experience and I'm still furious. I love M& Co, my shopping with them now will remind me of this obvious lack of education and customer service in our country! I would like a £25 voucher and I'll use it online! Ps don't go to sittingbourne - ever!! There's traffic wardens everywhere!
